Qiraat Africa is the English language platform for the Arabic language magazine “قراءات إفريقية” (meaning African Readings or Readings of African Affairs), which was launched in 2004 to focus on the cultural, intellectual, political, and social affairs of Sub-Saharan African countries. The English platform focuses on the political developments, socio-economic transformations, and cultural events in the region.
Qiraat Africa is published by the South Sahara Research Center, United Kingdom. The platform is independent in its editorial policies and maintains balance in presentation with objectivity in analyses and reports. It also has no political affiliations or conflicts of interest with any organizations or entities.
