Abstract:
The study included the types of biofuels and production generations. It also dealt with the relative distribution of renewable energy sources in the Republic of South Africa, which included solar energy, wind energy, biofuel energy, tidal energy, and hydropower, as well as that of non-renewable energy sources, which included coal, natural gas, petroleum, and shale oil. The study discussed the geographical factors affecting biofuel production in the Republic of South Africa, which were classified into natural factors, which included climatic conditions, soil, natural vegetation, water resources, and human factors, which included the demographic factor, the transportation network, marketing, and government policies. Then it dealt with the crops grown in the country and with a study of the environmental effects of traditional energy minerals in the Republic of South Africa. The study also included a study of biofuel production and consumption in the Republic of South Africa. It studied the development of biofuel production and the geographical distribution of biofuel production plants in the Republic of South Africa. Furthermore, it discussed the privileges of biofuel-producing companies in the governmental and private sectors and the study of biofuel production and consumption in the Republic of South Africa. The study ended with a conclusion that included the most important results and recommendations.
