Abstract:
The paper deals with Indian-African relations, in light of the rapid growth of these relations in recent times, driven by India’s interest in strengthening its presence on the African continent, where Indian-African relations are based on mutual gains. India is keen to establish a comprehensive, cohesive, and sustainable partnership with the continent, putting in Considering the priorities and needs of African countries. India and Africa share the colonial experience in the past. In addition to sharing views on many issues, such as establishing a more equitable global order and combating climate change. Therefore, India is working to present itself as a reliable partner for the African continent. The paper focuses on India’s strategy towards the African continent, as the establishment of the India-Africa Forum Summit, which began in 2008 and is held periodically every three years, was one of the most important pillars of that strategy, and helped to give an institutional and formal character to Indian-African relations, and to exchange consultations, and experiences.
