Open Access Policy

The Qiraat Africaniya Journal is committed to the principles of full Open Access, believing that knowledge should be freely accessible to all. We are dedicated to making scientific research available without barriers, as this fosters rapid information exchange, promotes innovation, and contributes to global scientific advancement.

1. Immediate and Free Access to Content

The Qiraat Africaniya Journal is an Open Access journal, meaning that all published articles across all issues are available free of charge and immediately upon publication. There are no access fees, subscriptions, or embargo periods. Any user can read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to the full texts of articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without requiring prior permission.

2. Licensing

To ensure maximum accessibility and reusability, all articles published in the Qiraat Africaniya Journal are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

This license permits the following, provided proper attribution to the original work is given:

  • Share: Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
  • Adapt: Remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially.

This means that researchers, institutions, and individuals are free to use, redistribute, and adapt your work, thereby maximizing the impact and reach of your research.

3. Copyright

The Qiraat Africaniya Journal adopts an author-friendly copyright model. Authors retain full copyright to their work published in this journal. However, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish the work for the first time and distribute it under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License, which allows others to share and reuse the work.

4. Self-Archiving Policy

The Qiraat Africaniya Journal strongly encourages authors to self-archive their published version (Publisher’s PDF) or their accepted manuscript (Author Accepted Manuscript – AAM) in institutional repositories, subject-specific repositories, or on their personal websites, immediately upon publication. This practice helps to enhance the visibility and impact of their research. A link to the published article on the journal’s website should be provided when self-archiving.
