The Prime Minister of Burkina Fasso, Jean Emmanuel Ouedraogo, on Tuesday in Ouagadougou, received the President of the Commission of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA), Abdoulaye Diop.<\/p>\n
President Abdoulaye Diop noted and appreciated Burkina Faso\u2019s accomplishment in mobilising its own resources.<\/p>\n
According to him, this has facilitated the consolidation of its macroeconomic situation despite the unfavorable context.<\/p>\n
The President of the UEMOA Commission also highlighted the country\u2019s dynamism in the transposition of community texts.<\/p>\n
He also informed the Head of Government of the development of two important documents for the governance of the Union.<\/p>\n
These are Vision 2040, which aims for a prosperous and peaceful community space, and the Strategic Plan entitled Impact 2030, which aims to enhance national resources to develop value chains, create jobs and increase people\u2019s income.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is in this same direction that the authorities of Burkina Faso have been working for several years. So, there is truly a convergence of views and orientations. We will work together to implement these actions for the community development of our union,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
