Rwanda has signed a framework agreement with Poland to boost bilateral ties in various fields including trade and green technologies.<\/p>\n
The deal was signed on Wednesday during a three-day visit to Rwanda by Polish President Andrzej Duda and his wife Agata Kornhauser-Duda.<\/p>\n
According to a statement seen by APA Thursday, the new agreements include a memorandum of understanding on defense cooperation, a memorandum of understanding between respective Universities as well as another between respective investment agencies.<\/p>\n
Official estimates show that the Rwandan community in Poland has grown to over 1200 students pursuing their studies in Poland.<\/p>\n
During the visit in December 2022, Polish Foreign Affairs minister Pawe\u0142 Jab\u0142o\u0144ski said that his country wishes to open an embassy in Kigali \u201cas soon as possible\u201d.<\/p>\n
