Abstract: The African economy suffered during the colonial period from exploitation and control in favor of the colonial countries, and after the colonialism, it witnessed a legacy of political and economic fluctuations and poverty, but it tried hard to unite African efforts to face its multiple problems. With the end of the eighties of the twentieth century, Most of African countries turned towards the principles of capitalism and economic freedom, to implement economic reform programs and open up to the economies of other world countries. Then the biggest transformation in African history occurred when the sustainable development agenda for Africa 2063 was set, which is a plan that aims to bring about a political, economic and social transformation of the African continent during a period of 50 years beginning in 2013 and ending by 2063. This study aims to track the path of the African economy from the continent’s independence until the end of the second decade of the 21st century, with a focus on macroeconomic performance such as (economic growth rates, foreign investment, poverty and inequality ... etc.). It sheds light on the economic stage that coincided with the first ten-year plan of the sustainable development agenda 2063, and focus on the paths and future of the African economy in light of that agenda through the following points: 1) Features of the African Economy during the period (1960-1988) 2) Economic reform programs and their implications for the performance of the African economy (1990-2013) 3) The performance of the African economy in light of the implementation of the first ten-year plan for the sustainable development agenda 2063. 4) The expected transformations towards a better future for the African economy. The study concluded with several results , the most important of which is that the African continent endured for many decades difficult stages of colonial control, followed by many economic crises, and international economic relations dominated by the exploitative nature of the continent's resources and wealth, to transform since 2013 - when the sustainable development agenda for Africa 2063 - was launched. Africa enabled to significantly improve its economic conditions, making its level of economic growth surpassing many countries of the world, as recognized by international institutions and magazines The continent has taken steady steps towards promoting regional integration, establishing a continental free trade zone, and supporting digital transformation processes, thus transforming the continent towards more powerful, diversified and integrated economies.
الملخص: عانى الاقتصاد الافريقى خلال فترة الاستعمار من الاستغلال والسيطرة لصالح الدول المستعمرة ، وما بعد الاستعمار ، شهدت إرثًا من التقلبات السياسية والاقتصادية الفقر، الا أنها حاولت جاهدة توحيد الجهود الأفريقية لمواجهة مشكلاتها المتعددة ، وانتعشت الاقتصادات الأفريقية نسبياً وان كانت سرعان ما عانت العديد من الأزمات فى الفترة من (1970-1980) . ومع نهاية ثمانينات القرن العشرين توجهت معظم دول العالم نحو مبادىء الرأسمالية والحرية الاقتصادية، لتطبق بذلك برامج الاصلاح الاقتصادى ، وتنفتح على اقتصادات دول العالم الأخرى . ثم حدث التحول الأكبر فى التاريخ الأفريقى عندما تم وضع أجندة التنمية المستدامة لأفريقيا 2063 ، وهى الخطة التى تهدف الى احداث تحول سياسى واقتصادى واجتماعى للقارة الأفريقية خلال فترة مدتها 50 عاماً تبدأ عام 2013 ، وتنتهى بحلول عام 2063 . وتهدف تلك الدراسة الى تتبع مسار الاقتصاد الافريقى منذ حصول القارة على الاستقلال وحتى نهاية العقد الثانى من القرن 21 ، مع التركيز على أداء الاقتصاد الكلى مثل ( معدلات النمو الاقتصادى ، الاستثمارات الأجنبية ، الفقر وعدم المساواة ...الخ ) . وتسلط الضوء على المرحلة الاقتصادية التى واكبت الخطة العشرية الأولى من أجندة التنمية المستدامة 2063 ، والتركيز على مسارات ومستقبل الاقتصاد الأفريقى فى ظل تلك الأجندة ، والقطاعات محل النمو والازدهار فى المستقبل، وذلك من خلال النقاط التالية :- أولاً – ملامح الاقتصاد الأفريقى خلال الفترة ( 1960 – 1988) ثاتياً- برامج الاصلاح الاقتصادى وانعكاساتها على أداء الاقتصاد الأفريقى (1990-2013). ثالثاً- أداء الاقتصاد الافريقى فى ظل تطبيق الخطة العشرية الأولى لأجندة التنمية المستدامة 2063. رابعاً- التحولات المتوقعة نحو مستقبل أفضل للاقتصاد الأفريقى. وقد خلصت الدراسة الى عدة نتائج أهمها أن القارة الأفريقية تحملت طوال عقود طويلة مراحل صعبة من السيطرة الاستعمارية ، يليها أزمات اقتصادية عديدة ، وعلاقات اقتصادية دولية يغلب عليها الطابع الاستغلالى لموارد وثروات القارة ، لتتحول منذ عام 2013 - عندما تم اطلاق أجندة التنمية المستدامة لأفريقيا 2063 -الى عالم جديد من صنع القارة ونابع من ارداتها ، وهو ما بدأت فيه أفريقيا بالفعل خلال الخطة العشرية الأولى للأجندة (2013-2023) والتى مكنت أفريقيا من تحسين أوضاعها الاقتصادية بشكل كبير جعل مستوى نموها الاقتصادى يفوق العديد من دول العالم ، وذلك باعتراف المؤسسات الدولية والمجلات العالمية المتخصصة ، كما اتخذت القارة خطوات ثابتة نحو تعزيز التكامل الاقليمى وانشاء منطقة التجارة الحرة القارية ، ودعم عمليات التحول الرقمى ، لتتحول بذلك القارة نحو اقتصادات أكثر قوة وتنوعا وتكاملا .
